Curiosity!

I took a peep

out of curiosity

and what I saw

I did not like at all

for you were not

on your very own

mourning for me

but had another

there in your arms

she lay beside you

in quite a trance
under the Xmas tree

heartbroken me

went back home and

thought the proverb

was damn right 'cos

curiosity killed the cat!

Ho dato un'occhiata

per curiosità

e quello che ho visto

non mi è piaciuto per niente

perché tu non eri da solo

in lutto per me

ma avevi un'altra

lì tra le tue braccia

lei giaceva accanto a te

tanto inebriata

sotto l'albero di Natale

mi ha spezzato il cuore

son tornata a casa e

ho pensato che il proverbio

era dannatamente giusto 

la curiosità uccise il gatto!
