                    La Maternità

La maternità avviene in tanti modi. Può essere programmata, causata, improvvisata, azzardata,violentata, sperimentata, ecc., e comunque sia, la donna diventa madre. Questo significa che la continuità della specie viene assicurata. Di solito avviene in una famiglia, ma ci sono oggi tante madri che crescono i loro figli da sole. C'è da dire anche che tanti bambini non hanno una madre e tante madri non hanno più i loro figli. Purtroppo, tante donne scelgono di non portare avanti questo 'fardello' ma per questo non si deve giudicare nessuno. Quindi, diciamo che la donna che si fa carico della maternità lo fa per amore o per tradizione ma anche per costrizione. 

Fortunata è la donna che riesce a lavorare a tempo pieno ed accudire anche alla famiglia. Questa riceverà una pensione adeguata in vecchiaia, mentre c'è chi è meno fortunata e si arrangia con piccoli lavoretti a nero per far si che i suoi figli abbiano una vita decente e migliori opportunità per il futuro. Quest'ultima non viene tutelata perchè non ha versato contributi o non ne ha a sufficienza. C'è da dire anche che nel corso della vita, possono accadere tante cose ad una donna: come un divorzio, che a volte non paga, oppure perdere il coniuge con pensione bassa, una malattia, un disastro finanziario, e tante altre cose. 

Certamente, esistono famiglie tradizionali dove la madre diventa nonna, donando il suo tempo ai nipoti e molte volte contribuiscono al lato economico, se possono, in soldi o prendendosi cura dei nipoti permettendo alla madre di lavorare. Un altro problema è la mobilità, che si fa sempre più frequente, i giovani si recano lontano in cerca di lavoro e un futuro migliore con gravi conseguenze per alcune madri, che spesso vengono lasciate da sole. 

Vorrei che la maternità ricevesse più attenzione da parte della comunità perchè la donna sacrifica molto per dare spazio alla nuova vita. Questo essere umano diventerà un cittadino che lavorerà e contribuirà al sistema, generando ricchezza e benessere per gli altri, a volte anche per se stesso. Lo stato dovrebbe garantire una vita dignitosa ad ogni madre con aiuti economici e sociali. Bisogna fare più attenzione alle madri nella comunità. Sono necessarie nuove leggi e strutture per la loro sicurezza. Lo stato si deve fare carico della famiglia esaminando caso per caso, cosi che nessuna donna debba mai deprimersi o disperarsi.

Sì, è bello mettere al mondo una nuova vita, ma a quale prezzo? Questo mondo appartiene a tutti, specialmente alle madri, senza di esse non ci sarebbe più umanità. Pensiamoci. Un ringraziamento a tutte le madri.

                         Motherhood

Motherhood can happen in many ways. It can be planned, caused, improvised, risked, experimented, raped, etc., and whichever way it happens, a woman will become a mother. This means that the continuity of the species is assured. It usually occurs in a family but there are now so many mothers who raise their children alone. It should also be said that many children do not have a mother, and many mothers no longer have their children. Unfortunately, many women choose not to pursue this 'burden' but nobody should be judged for this. Therefore, we can assume that a woman who takes on motherhood does it for love, tradition or costriction. 

Lucky is the woman who can work full time and also care for her family because she will receive an adequate pension in her old age, whilst there are those who are less fortunate and get by with odd jobs on the side so they can give their children a decent life and better future prospects. The latter is not protected because she has not paid any contributions or not enough. Also to be considered are the many things that can happen during the life of a woman, such as a divorce, which sometimes does not pay or the death of the partner with a very low pension, an illness, a financial disaster, and other things. 

Of course, there are traditional families where a mother becomes a grandmother donating her time to her grandchildren and often contributing to the economic situation, if they can, either in money or taking care of the grandchildren to allow the mother to go to work. Another problem is mobility, which happens much more frequently with young people going off in search of work and a better future. This has serious consequences for some mothers, who are often left on their own.

I wish motherhood would receive more attention from the community because a woman sacrifices so much to make room for a new life. This human being will become a citizen who will work and contribute to the system, generating wealth and well being for others, sometimes even for themselves. The state should guarantee a decent life to every mother, providing economic and social security taking care of the family by examining each individual case, this way no woman will ever be depressed or despaired.

Yes, it's nice to give birth to a new life, but at what price? We must take better care of mothers in the community. They need new laws and facilities for their well being. This world belongs to everyone, especially to mothers, without them there would be no humanity. Think about it. A thank you to all mothers.
