Le Catene Mentali

Un prigioniero non reagisce. 

Ha capito che l'unico modo

per salvarsi la vita è aspettare. 

Ma quante persone 'libere'

sono imprigionate dalle loro menti? 

Hanno paura di non farcela, pensando 

che l'avversario (la vita) sia più forte.

Sarà perchè ormai hanno deposto le 'armi'?

La rassegnazione è la miseria umana.

Mental Chains

A prisoner does not react. 

He knows the only way 

to save his life is to wait. 

But how many 'free' people

are imprisoned by their minds?

They are afraid of not making it, 

thinking the enemy (life) is stronger.

Is it because by now they have 

laid down their 'arms'?

Resignation is a human misery.
