L'ALTRO PIANETA

(monologo per due

Madre/Figlio)

M: Che bella serata stellata!

F: Belle le stelle! Come si chiama quella un pò fioca?

M: Quella era il Pianeta Terra.

F: Perchè era?

M: Si autodistrusse milioni di anni fa.

F: C'erano persone sul pianeta?

M: Eh sì! Moltissime...

F: Fu il peso delle persone a farla crollare?

M: In parte sì, ma il colpo finale venne dal mondo sotterraneo.

F: Il mondo sotterraneo?

M: Sì, contiene tutte le cose segrete e le tiene nascoste.

F: Com'è successo?

M: Un giorno la Terra non ne poteva più! Allora si ribaltò, rigirandosi

sottosopra così tutte le cose nascoste furono scaraventate fuori.

Il tremendo peso fece sprofondare il pianeta nell'abisso.

F: Oh no! Perchè tutte quelle cose erano nascoste?

M: Sono cose che le persone non vogliono che si sappiano e così le nascondono.

F: Ma anche se non le avessero nascoste, la Terra sarebbe caduta lo stesso!

M: No, perchè se le cose sono chiare e limpide, non pesano affatto!

F: Allora perchè la Terra si ribellò?

M: La Terra sapeva tutto. Non ce la faceva più a sostenere il peso delle menzogne.

F: Meglio dirle le cose allora?

M: Sì, è meglio chiarire e cercare di risolvere o rimediare. La Terra ci insegnò di aver cura del nostro pianeta.

F: Al nostro non accadrà, vero mamma?

M: No, qui siamo al sicuro perchè noi ‘lunatici’ diciamo sempre la verità.

F: EVVIVA!!!

THE OTHER PLANET

(Monologue for two Mother/Son)

M: What a beautiful starry night!

S: Beautiful Stars! What is that one a little dim called?

M: That was the Planet Earth.

S: Why was?

M: It destroyed itself millions of years ago.

S: Were there people on the planet?

M: Yeah! Many...

S: Was it the people's weight that made it collapse?

M: Partly yes, but the final blow came from the underworld.

S: The underworld?

M: Yes, it contains all the secret things and keeps them hidden.

S: How did it happen?

M: One day the Earth could stand it no longer! It overturned so everything went upside down and all the hidden things were thrown out.

The tremendous weight sank the planet into the abyss.

S: Oh no! Why were all those things hidden?

M: Those are things people do not want to be known and so they hide them.

S: But even if they did not hide them, the Earth would have fallen just the same!

M: No, because if things are crystal clear, they do not weigh at all!

S: So why did the Earth rebel?

M: The Earth knew everything. It could no longer bear the weight of lies.

S: Better to tell things then?

M: Yes, it is better to clarify and try to solve things or try to amend. The Earth taught us to take care of our planet.

S: It will not happen to ours, right mum?

M: No, here we are safe because us 'lunatics' always tell the truth.

S: HURRAH !!!
