occhi di agnello

occhi che parlano

occhi che non dicono niente

occhi che ridono

occhi che piangono

mi osservano 

mi ammirano

mi fissano

mi implorano

mi odiano

mi adorano

gli occhi si trasformano

chi è che mi guarda?

ne ho incontrato 

di occhi...

e se mi chiedessero

quali occhi vorrei portare 

con me nell'aldilà

risponderei...i tuoi...

per farmi luce 

nelle tenebre

come due lanterne

tu hai gli occhi dell'eterno

quello sguardo divino

che può esistere solo

negli occhi dell'amore

essi vedono quello 

che è invisibile

agli occhi di tigre

agli occhi di agnello

eyes of tiger

eyes of lamb

eyes that speak

eyes that say nothing

eyes that laugh

eyes that cry

they observe me

they admire me

they stare at me

they implore me

they hate me

they adore me

my eyes transform

who is looking at me?

I have met many eyes

and if they asked me

whose eyes I’d like 

to take with me 

in the afterlife

I'd say...yours...

to light my way 

in the darkness

like two lanterns 

you have the eyes

of the eternal

that divine look

that can only exist

in the eyes of love

they see what is 

invisible to

eyes of tiger

eyes of lamb
