Come si diventa santi?

Si diventa santi facendo del bene al prossimo. Questo perchè il mondo conosce solo la cattiveria. 

Una persona buona prega Dio che gli dia la forza di aiutare gli altri, e Dio, commosso, le dà questo potere. Però, questo vale solo mentre è in vita, non ha alcun potere dopo la sua morte. Solo Dio può concedere una grazia, ma a volte lo fa attraverso persone disponibili e con cuore aperto verso i fratelli malati e bisognosi. 

Più delle volte, il malato non sa delle preghiere effettuate per il suo bene, ed è meglio che sia così, perchè la gloria e il merito non sono essenziali quanto la guarigione e il benessere delle persone. 

Quindi, se tutti fossimo più buoni e attenti verso gli altri, la buona azione non farebbe più scalpore e non chiamerebbero 'miracolo' quello che è solo un aiuto, una considerazione, una dimostranza d'affetto che guarisce l'anima. Penso che amare sia il vero miracolo.

How do you become a saint?

You become a saint by doing good deeds towards your fellowmen. 

This because the world knows only evil. 

A good person prays God to give them strength to help others, and God, touched by this, gives them this power. But this can only happen during their lifetime, they have no power once they are dead. Only God can grant grace, but sometimes he does it through people who are willing and with an open heart towards the sick and the needy. 

Very often, sick people have no knowledge of the prayers said for them, and it is better that way, since glory and merit are not so important as people's healing and well being. 

Therefore, if we were all much more loving and understanding towards each other, a good action would no longer be an exceptional event and they would not call 'miracle' that which is only help, consideration, an act of kindness that heals the soul. I believe that to be able to love is the real miracle.
