Celata Mente

"Cogito ergo sum" che significa 

letteralmente  "Penso dunque sono",

è l'espressione con cui Cartesio esprime 

la certezza indiscutibile che l'uomo ha di 

sé stesso in quanto soggetto pensante.

pensi di conoscermi?

mai impresa fu più ardua

e faticosa che penetrare

la mente altrui

che mistero!

quanto quello divino...

la voce fa silenzio

parole scorrono incessanti

sorde per te le mie

vorrei poter entrare

nel tuo reame

frutto proibito

mi arrendo all'incognito...

celato sei

celata sono

celata mente

Dio! sei tu la mente?

sono io il cuore?

means literally 

"I think so I am".

It is Cartesio's way 

of expressing 

the utmost certainty 

that man has of existing, 

since he is able to think.

so you think you know me?

it is the hardest task

to penetrate a mind

that is not your own

what a mystery!

as much as the divine...

there is silence around

neverending words flow

deaf are you to mine

wish I could enter

that private space

prohibited fruit

I surrender to 

the unknown...

hidden you

hidden me

hidden mind

God! 

are you the mind?

am I the heart?
