Sono inimitabile

Non clonabile

Son io e son me

ma poi torno

ad essere me stessa

e ci si raccapezza!

Anticipare la mossa

uno scacco matto 

...et Voilà!!!

con colpo di tacco

appare uno spacco

che girar la testa fa

anche a chi non ce l'ha!

Potreste chiedervi

chi sono e cosa voglio

le risposte non avreste

per un unico movente

le acque son agitate

e le porte scompigliate!

Aimè! nemmeno un trillo

veloce e scattante

come un grillo

ridonar la calma può

su quest'essere illusorio

che in ginocchio

per piacer a tutti

ha perso l'amore

la gloria e anche me!

makes heads spin round

You could ask who is me

and what my wishes be

you'd never get it right

cos it's all inside out

and round 'n about

goodness me

what a fright!

Alas! not even a bullet

as fast as a cricket

could bring peace of mind

to this illusory creature

who wished to please

everyone on her knees

and in the end you see

she lost her love her glory

and even me!
