Maria

Al sorgere del sole

un'umile creatura

vissuta in un tempo

malvagio pieno di

ingiustizie e sofferenze

seppe tenere 

libertà di cuore

speranza di un Salvatore...

non cercando fuori

nel rumore ma

lo generò dentro di se

il sogno divenne realtà

così fu scelta fra 

tante fanciulle

perchè voleva 

quel figlio

regalo per l'umanità

senza catene o 

alcun pretesa

scelta conscia

amore altruista

Dio sa leggere i cuori

Maria partorì Gesù

ed insegnò a suo figlio

la libertà di sognare...

There came at sunrise

a humble creature

who lived in a time

full of evil

injustice and 

suffering

but kept freedom

in her heart

hope for a Saviour...

not by seeking

amidst the noise

she bore him inside

her dream came true

she was chosen 

among many maidens

she wanted that son

a gift to humanity

no chains or claims

conscious choice

unselfish love

God can read hearts

Mary gave birth to Jesus

and taught her son

the freedom to dream...
