Lo scorrere del tempo

Non ho più l'orologio

appeso al muro

c'è uno specchio

al posto suo

preferisco il mio 

riflesso fisso 

sul presente

alle lancette mobili

sovrane e strafottenti

lo scorrere del tempo

segnato sul mio volto

non mi spaventa

ora, sono io!

Time flow

I no longer have a clock

hanging on the wall

there is a mirror there

I prefer my reflection

fixed on the present

to the  moving hands

sovereign and arrogant

the time flow

marked on my face

does not scare me

now, it’s me!
