Penso che i popoli dell'Occidente ormai vivono in pace, essendo più fortunati dei loro fratelli di altri paesi e quando succedono delle tragedie, non sono pronti. Gli crolla il mondo addosso. Chi invece combatte e spara contro gli altri ogni santo giorno, non si meraviglia quando questi sparino a loro. Sì, il dolore è uguale ma la reazione è diversa. Tutto è relativo disse Einstein. Serve un impegno maggiore verso gli altri popoli in modo che anche essi raggiungono la piena consapevolezza che solo amandoci si può finalmente vivere in pace. Purtroppo, finchè esisteranno ingiustizia, disuguaglianza e non fratellanza = non libertà, non ci sarà la pace...
I think that people from the Western world are now living in peace, being more fortunate than their brothers abroad so when tragedies happen, they are not ready. They see the world collapse on them. Those who are fighting and shooting at others every single day are not surprised when they shoot back. Yes, the pain is the same but the reaction is different. Everything is relative so Einstein said. There is a need for a greater commitment towards others so that they may attain the full knowledge that only by loving each other it will be possible to finally live in peace. Unfortunately, as long as there is injustice, inequality and non-fraternity = no freedom, there will be no peace...
